Begun by Silverstein Properties in April 2006 and taken over by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey1, construction of the stunning new One World Trade Center tower is entering its home stretch, with construction expected to be completed early next year. For NYC natives and travelers worldwide alike, it’s uplifting to see the beautiful structure finally taking shape.
